EA has sent out an informative official FAQ based on The Sims 3. It answers 24 commonly asked questions about transferring your Sims 2 houses and Sims to The Sims 3, Sims 3 Expansions and some other stuff. Click "READ MORE" to view the FAQ's.

"16. We understand that the game features a continuous neighborhood and no loading times, but there won't be multiple neighborhoods as in The Sims 2. Tell us a bit about this decision. How will it change what different players do with the game once they get it in their hands?

There is one neighborhood, and it is pretty amazing. We've been working exclusively on this one neighborhood, Sunset Valley for the last few years. It's bigger and richer than anything we've made before. We really just wanted to make something that would blow people away, and we wanted to do more with the town than we have in the past.

No two towns will ever be the same after one generation in The Sims 3. As I mentioned, every Sim has complete AI throughout their life, so you'll see people grow up, go to school, fall in love, get married, get jobs, move out, have families, grow old and pass away. It's also possible to change all of the Sims in your town, so you can fill the town with whoever you like...yourself, your friends, characters from your favorite show, favorite band or sports team, anyone you can imagine...you get the point. "

Hey Guys! I have Leona with me today as i do almost every weekend and we were just talking about some new stuff we could add to the site. We were thinking about bringing back our Footballers Wives Story, we only ever released season 1 and it was a Hit! We're thinking about working on a comic version. What do you think?
Also what other stuff would you like to see on Woohoo Sims. We have just started work on a nice festive Christmas theme for the site which we hope to have up on December 1st 2008.

I personally think the orange car on the first one looks so cool!

A new blog has been posted on the official sims 3 site. It was posted by Adam Siegel, a producer in The Sims Internet Group. It gives us insight into the new Sims 3 exchange, what features will be available for example the mashup tool and positive rating programme.

"Second, we are greatly improving the community experience inside the game Launcher. Every time you launch the game, you will be able to check a new Launcher webpage to see the latest news, and even browse and download featured game items that members have created and uploaded to the Exchange. You can also learn about fun community activities and promotions. You will be able to link to your favorite areas of the site directly from the Launcher as well."

A new BoxArt has appeared for the Sims 3 which I personally think is the best looking one thats appeard so far. But as with the others, it may not be genuine. It was found by ProSims.

Made some new Transparent Artwork for you all. It seems that our Transparent Artwork page is one of the most popular pages on the site so I'll be continuing with it. Now we have 23 transparent renders from the sims 3 and 4 from Spore. They are allowed to be used in banners but may not be redistributed as it does take a while to make them transparent.

The Sims 3 Prima Guide Details
